78

Well after much battle with my inner self to get on with my college work and such i still find my self slowly ... but surly getting to level 80... as for the fury its self, well its kinda sluggish at the moment but more than anything i feel that has to do with lack of gear.
I'm sitting on over 320 hit at the moment and my crit is dangerously getting low... 26% i think it was last i looked. But with gear thats available out there... and iv seen some amazing things been linked in G chat over the past week.. TG will be amazingly ... well.. amazing.
Sorry again for slow postage... want to get to 80 asap and raiding so i can bring you my low down of how fury is for me.. and ofc my opinions and critasisms of it!
Peace out peeps that thanks for still droppping by!

Glyps and Proffesions

Glyphs

A list of Glyphs here than are most likely still subject to change being that actually finding any warrior related Glyphs is kinda hard at the moment.

Iv highlighted the Glyphs i feel i would find useful as a fury warrior in a pve or pvp environment.

Key:
Green - Like
Purple - Very interested in

  • Glyph of Battle - Increases the duration of your Battle Shout ability by 1 min.
  • Glyph of Barbaric Insults - Your Mocking Blow ability also taunts the target.
  • Glyph of Blocking - Increases your block value by 10% for 10 sec after using your Shield Slam ability.
  • Glyph of Bloodrage - Reduces the health cost of your Bloodrage ability by 50%.
  • Glyph of Bloodthirst - Increases the healing you receive from your Bloodthirst ability by 20%.
  • Glyph of Charge - Increases the range of your Charge ability by 5 yards.
  • Glyph of Cleaving - Reduces the rage cost of Cleave by 5.
  • Glyph of Devastate - Your Devastate ability now applies two stacks of Sunder Armor.
  • Glyph of Enduring Victory - Increases the window of opportunity in which you can use Victory Rush by 5 sec.
  • Glyph of Execution - Your Execute ability deals damage as if you had 10 additional rage.
  • Glyph of Hamstring - Gives your Hamstring ability a 10% chance to immobilize the target for 5 sec.
  • Glyph of Heroic Strike - You gain 10 rage when you critically strike with your Heroic Strike ability.
  • Glyph of Intervene - Increases the number attacks you intercept for your Intervene target by 1.
  • Glyph of Mocking Blow - Increases the damage of your Mocking Blow ability by 25%.
  • Glyph of Mortal Strike - Increases the damage of your Mortal Strike ability by 10% but the healing penalty is reduced by half.
  • Glyph of Overpower - Adds a 50% chance to enable your Overpower when your attacks are parried.
  • Glyph of Rapid Charge - Reduces the cooldown of your Charge ability by 20%.
  • Glyph of Rending - Increases the duration of your Rend ability by 3 sec.
  • Glyph of Resonating Power - Increases the maximum targets affected by your Thunder Clap ability by 4.
  • Glyph of Revenge - After using Revenge, your next Heroic Strike costs no rage.
  • Glyph of Shield Slam - Increases your block value by 10% for 10 sec after using your Shield Slam ability.
  • Glyph of Spell Reflection - Reduces the cooldown of your Spell Reflection ability by 2 sec.
  • Glyph of Sunder Armor - Your Sunder Armor ability affects a second nearby target.
  • Glyph of Sweeping Strikes - You generate 30 rage over 12 sec when you use your Sweeping Strikes ability.
  • Glyph of Taunt - Increases the chance for your Taunt ability to succeed by 8%.
  • Glyph of Thunder Clap - Increases the radius of your Thunder Clap ability by 2 yards.
  • Glyph of Victory Rush - Your Victory Rush ability has a 30% increased critical strike chance against targets above 90% health.
  • Glyph of Whirlwind - Increases the number of targets you Whirlwind ability hits by 1.
The Heroic strike is useful to me as i use HS in my rotation allot so that one is self explanatory
The Cleave and Whirlwind Glyphs i like as there is always a point in PvE when you can go AoE crazy! ( MH seems like a good example )
Battle shout for obvious reasons but bare in mind Battle shout no longer stacks with Blessing of might on beta.
Bloodthirst glyph, The healing bonus is nice to some extent. Any 1 that has ventured into MH and onwards would realize that allot of trash and even boss fights have allot more raid damage input, so any source of self healing is always a good thing.

Was hoping for some sort of stat buffer , like increase hit chance by 3% or something along thoughs lines but it seems that is not to be... yet any way. Will keep hoping for that though!

professions

As for professions ..well sorry to say all serious ideas has totaly been thrown out the window.. Its Engineering all the way baby!! A small list of why and you wil understand my madness and increased excitment for it!

Sonic Booster - The noise mades from melee combat sometimes cause Sonic Awareness, increasing your attack power by 430 for 10 sec. This effect can only occur once every minute.

Moll -E -
Creates a portable mailbox for 5 min.

Gnomish X-ray - specs
Allows you to see players without clothing and armor.

Mechano-Hog - bad ass chopper motercycle mount

Just some of the fun reasons i want to keep Engineering, yeah i know hardly any of it is usful but who cares!! look at the fun factor! and i did see somthing some where about rocket launchers you can attack to your gloves!
Ofc as always with anything beta related some of this is subject to change

Beta news / Heroic leap Removed...

Blue post =

-- After a long absence, Tactical Mastery returns to tier 2 Arms. Improved Thunder Clap sent packing to tier 1 Protection.
-- Justified Killing removed.
-- Blood Frenzy gets a 3/6% speed buff.
-- Trauma can now be procc'ed by specials in addition to normal swings.
-- Improved Mortal Strike reduced to 3 ranks. Increases damage 3/6/9% and reduces cooldown by 0.3 / 0.6 / 1.
-- Bloodthirst requires a weapon. Just a cosmetic change to make it clear that it's affected by TG's hit penalty.
-- Armored to the Teeth -- tier 1 Fury so everyone can get it. Converts 400 armor into 1/2/3 Strength. Sir, I need you to drop the rogue leather and step away.
-- We had to cut Heroic Leap. Increasingly we were just spending too much of our development time trying to resolve all of the bugs and edge cases of the talent, many relating to getting to bad places in the game (often on accident). Replaced with Heroic Fury removes all immobilization effects and refreshes the cooldown on Intercept. 45 sec cooldown.
-- Unending Fury lowers the cost of Slam, Whirlwind and Bloodthrist by 1 per rank.

Tactical Mastery back in Arms tree.. bout time, imo they never should of moved it in the first place. Now that its made clear that bloodthirst is affected by the Titans grip hit penalty, will really show us that TG will not be effect at level 70, The hit amount that will be required is on par with rogues as they are now if not more. To compensate other stats to gain enough hit to keep Bloodthirst within our rotation and to maintain good enough hit to use it is to much of a lose for our other stats. In short TG wont be that great at level 70 but how good at 80? that question still remains. Would go on PTR to test my self, but a que of over 2000 people when trying to log in and no mobs to kill becuase there being made extinct by every other PTR tester, I think ill rather just wait! Bloodfrenzy speed buff is .. well good from the Fury V Arms point of view but i hope it doesnt mean Arms warrior will no longer be raid viable. Armoured to the teeth sounds interesting indeed but after looking at some of the wrath plate gear and there total lack of +hit gear i fear i my have to be strutting around in leather to compensate for it.

now... the big thing that counts there...

Heroic leap replaced with...
Heroic Fury removes all immobilization effects and refreshes the cooldown on Intercept. 45 sec cooldown.
This is an enormous pvp viabilty check. Seriously this is amazing and being that im a massive fury fan when it comes to pvp... well.. woooot bout time! I can see many other peopel calling out for a nurf but $%&%& them! the object of a warrior is arm to arm combat and when half the time we cant be in range of any other class... it doesnt make us much of a warrior. This new talent is sure to fix that to some extent!

Fury Focus BT

Finally my movie is complete. After alot of cursing and head butting of the keyboard its finally complete!

Its my own story that is not Lore related, My aim was to make watching a raid video entertaining , not to show off DPS or anything like that ( I can do that later :P )
This is my first attempt at trying any project remotely as big as this, and granted there is a few mistakes, i can learn for next time.
Any way hope you guyz out there enjoy it as i enjoyed making it!

Beta news

Blue post:

Fury
- Intensify Rage and Precision swapped locations.
- Enrage now increases damage done by 3/6/9/12/15%, limitation on number of attacks removed.
- Improved Whirlwind now increases damage of Whirlwind by 10/20%, no longer reduces cooldown.
- Furious Attacks changed to use PPM (procs per minute) to make it trigger at the same rate regardless of weapon speed. Note that dual-wielding and haste still improve your chances.
- Titan’s Grip still needs a counterbalancing element, but what it will entail and how severe it will be is still being evaluated.

Some of this interests me, the Intensify rage and Precision swapping locations makes sense to me, being the Arms tree is strong as it stands, being able to spec for a faster CD on Deahwish and Recklessness would of properly made Arms way over powered for arena. As for the Enrage damage reduction.. well being that i wont be spec for Enrage i guess im not to bothered about it, but i do know that its a vital buff for any PvP arms or PvP fury warrior and im upset to see it nurfed ... again ( any one remeber the days when it gave 50% damage increase ) so from way back when it had 50% damage increase, it has now come to 15% max. But on the other hand once you are Enraged you can regen 30% of your total health for 10 seconds, this will consume your Enrage buff though, This will be strong in any PvP inviorment.

Blue post :

General - Enraged Assault redesigned, now Enraged Regeneration: You regenerate 30% of your total health over 10 sec. This ability consumes all Enrage effects and prevents any from affecting you for the full duration. Must be enraged to use. Cost 15 rage, 3 min cooldown.

Do you feel this partnership with Enraged Assault and Enrage is better than the previous ordinary Enrage ?

The improved Wirlwind change to increase damage done is nice no doubt but will mess the commen fury rotation, i doubt this will be a high price to pay over time on a long fight but rather more of an overall damage outage. As for Furious attacks, well lets be honist we couldnt expect it to stay how it was and i still feel there will be even more changes to come for it.

Now here comes my main and one and only concern at the moment. Titans grip is due for a change, and not for the better. Well can i ask bluntly "Why"?
Why change it, i dont feel it deserves a nurf. And in all fairness i cant understand why people are calling for a nurf. They feel threatend by the fact that some one in plate is running around dual wielding x2 twohanded weapons.
Take a step back and actualy have a think about this. First of all its a 51 point talent so its saposed to be dam good. Second, you people calling for nurfs and Devs included do realize that 2 handed weps aint exacly fast right? anything from 3.50 to 4:00 in rare cases. So its gona take time to swing them buggers! and with the chances to miss any and what little white damage we do ( granted most damage is from abilitys ) will be low, oh and dont forget.. no more windfury!!! its being replaced by haste, not alot of haste at that. Not enough to benafit as much as windfury did any way.

If Titans grip is to be changed in some way, Don't touch the damage it will produce or add a speed penalty but rather somthing more suttel, Some one on the forums come up with an idea that i thought seemed fair, Give Titans grip a +Hit penalty, So we, just like rogues would have to focus more on gaining pluse hit rather than just AP and Crit. We can focus more on stat balance and in all fariness i feel it would make the fury tree more interesting this way.
